The Charleston Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in Charleston's 53rd Annual Dogwood-Azalea Festival Parade!
"Cruisin' Back" is the theme of this year's parade.
The parade will assemble behind St. Henry's School (300 block of Court Street) Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Out of town judges will be present to judge entries during the line-up.
The Parade Registration Form is available on paper and in the online form below. While our preference is to accept online parade registrations you may, if you'd rather, choose to submit your form via U.S. Mail, or simply drop it by the Chamber office. Please see the link to a printable copy at the bottom of this page if you choose to mail or hand-deliver your registration form.
To register for the parade online please provide us with the information requested in the form below. Please register before the April 12th deadline.
Each political candidate's entourage is limited to him/herself and 9 others. If a candidate is not a member of the Chamber there will be a $50 fee to participate in the parade.
All motorized entries require the following: No more than 30 days prior and no later than 3 days prior to the parade, the applicant must provide a make, model, and color description along with license plate number of the unit, copy of the drivers license of the individual operating said unit, and proof of valid insurance for driver and unit.
To all participants: No candy or other materials may be thrown. All items must be distributed by hand passing.
All items handed out must have intrinsic value. Paper winds up as trash in the gutters.
Thank you for your participation in Charleston's 53rd Annual Dogwood-Azalea Festival! We look forward to seeing you in April!
